Overview

Beth C. Grossman brings over 15 years of experience advising individuals and families on estate planning and estate and trust administration matters, with a focus on estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax planning and compliance. She structures comprehensive, tax-efficient planning, with a focus on high-net-worth planning, succession planning, estate tax minimization, and thoughtful wealth transfer strategies. On estate and trust administration matters, Beth works with fiduciaries and families, providing guidance and implementation of post-mortem tax planning strategies, estate tax compliance, and fiduciary income tax compliance. Beth also serves as a trustee on numerous trusts.

Experience

Drawing on her dual background as a CPA and an attorney, Beth advises clients on estate tax planning and gifting strategies, through various trusts and family entities to support tax savings, retirement planning, and charitable planning considerations. She guides fiduciaries and families through fiduciary income tax planning and compliance matters, including post-mortem tax planning where applicable, along with estate tax return compliance.

Operating separately in her capacity as an attorney through Aprio Legal Americas, P.C., Beth prepares comprehensive estate plans tailored to each client’s goals, including the drafting and implementation of revocable and irrevocable trusts, and other core estate planning documents, as well as the creation and maintenance of family entities where appropriate for advanced planning and asset protection purposes. She represents fiduciaries in probate proceedings and other aspects of estate and trust administration to help ensure the administration process is in alignment with legal requirements and the decedent’s wishes.

Education and Affiliations

Beth graduated summa cum laude from Fairfield University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She also holds a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School, where she graduated cum laude.

Beth has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Massachusetts Rising Star in Estate Planning and Probate (2018–present).
