John T. Gilbert is a seasoned attorney with decades of experience in commercial litigation, business and real estate law, business acquisitions, and estate planning.

He is recognized for his ability to negotiate complex transactions, contracts, and leases, particularly within the real estate sector. John has represented owners, developers, contractors, and financial institutions across all areas of the real estate market.

Experience

Following his graduation from Northwestern University School of Law, John clerked for the Honorable Jack D.H. Hays of the Arizona Supreme Court before entering private practice. Over the course of his career, he has handled a wide range of business and real estate matters and has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful counsel and strong advocacy.

In addition to his legal practice, John has contributed to the development of the profession. He chaired the Maricopa County Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education Committee in the late 1980s and co-edited the Arizona Litigation Guide, Second Edition (1993). He has also been actively engaged in the community, serving for more than a decade on the Board of Management of the Chris-Town YMCA.
