Experience

In his practice, Patrick oversees a multidisciplinary team that supports individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, corporations, and multinational entities through every stage of the dispute lifecycle — from audit defense and appeals to debt resolution and penalty mitigation. His focus areas include IRS and state audit representation, appeals advocacy and strategic settlement negotiation, penalty abatement and reasonable cause defense, entity classification and tax position substantiation, installment agreements, offers in compromise, lien and levy resolution, identity theft remediation, and administrative advocacy.

Patrick is widely regarded as a “fixer” in the controversy space, combining legal acumen with practical insight to help clients pursue favorable outcomes. His approach integrates procedural knowledge with forward-looking risk management.
