Overview
Don Alvarez is a seasoned civil litigator with decades of experience representing clients in business and commercial disputes, construction-related matters, and complex civil litigation. He also serves as an Arbitrator and Mediator, helping parties address conflicts efficiently and effectively outside of court. Recognized with an “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, Don is respected for his professionalism, integrity, and results-driven advocacy.
Experience
Don’s practice covers business divorces, contract disputes, business torts, and a wide range of construction-related litigation for owners, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers. In addition to his trial practice, he has extensive experience in arbitration and mediation, serving on the American Arbitration Association’s panel of arbitrators since 1980.
Over the course of his career, Don has held leadership positions within the legal community, including serving as Chairman of the Maricopa County Bar Foundation Board of Trustees and on the City of Scottsdale’s Judicial Appointments Advisory Board. He is admitted to practice before multiple federal courts, including the District Courts of New York (Northern and Southern Districts), Arizona, the District Court of North Dakota, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
