Overview
With 30 years of litigation and judicial experience, Lori Metcalf delivers practical, business-oriented counsel in construction law, labor and employment law, and government liability.
A former Judge for the City of Phoenix Municipal Court, Lori also served as general counsel for an international construction company, where she managed high-stakes litigation and provided strategic legal counsel on large-scale public infrastructure projects across Arizona, California, and Virginia.
Experience
Lori has extensive experience in both state and federal courts, as well as in alternative dispute resolution. She has successfully resolved hundreds of cases early through summary judgment and dismissal, and she regularly defends private employers against claims involving labor law violations, discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, and harassment.
Her practice also includes representing government entities in civil rights matters and advising on construction-related disputes. Beyond her practice, Lori teaches as an adjunct professor at Arizona State University, sharing her knowledge with the next generation of legal professionals.
